Blue & White Lotus Flowers for Tea
A sacred bloom for soothing the soul.
Botanical Name: Nymphaea caerulea
Hand-harvested and sun-dried, these Lotus flowers have long been revered across ancient cultures for their heart-opening, calming, and meditative qualities. Known as Nymphaea caerulea, the Blue Lotus is especially treasured for its dream-enhancing and euphoric effects, while the White Lotus is often associated with clarity, purification, and peace.
This special blend brings together the best of both worlds—uniting the deeply relaxing, expansive nature of the Blue Lotus with the serene, centering energy of the White. Together, they create a unique tea experience that invites you to soften into yourself, drop into the heart, and return to a quiet sense of presence.
Whether sipped in ceremony or as a gentle end-of-day ritual, Lotus tea is a beautiful way to infuse your day with soul.
Approx 15 grams.
Tea Preparation
Each flower typically makes 2 servings of tea.
Method 1 – Stovetop:
Simmer 1–2 whole flowers in a large pot with approx. 300ml of water per flower. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and gently simmer for 3 minutes.
Method 2 – Teapot or Mug:
Place 1–2 flowers in a teapot or large mug. Pour boiling water over the flowers and steep until the petals soften and the water takes on a rich colour. Drink slowly and top up with boiling water another 2–3 times, or until the infusion runs clear.
This tea can be enjoyed as a personal ritual or shared with a loved one. Best sipped in quiet, reflective moments.
